Fish

Hi my name is Reed. Did you know that there are 3 kinds of fish? Bony fish, jawless fish, and cartilage fish. If you were a fish, what would you want to be?  I would pick cartilage fish because that’s what sharks are if you didn’t know that. Some fish live in fresh water and some other fish live in salt water. Fish are cold-blooded no matter where they are. If you don’t know what a cold-blooded animal is, it is an animal that changes his body heat with his/ her surroundings. Most fish have scales right and they protect themselves how are scales like skin. All fish have fins mostly. Did you know that fish breathe oxygen, but it is not from the air it’s from the water? Most fish lay eggs, but most of the eggs don’t hatch or develop into adult fish. Fish I think taste like chicken.  No fish were offended by what I said. Well that’s my story. Bye.

Spiny-bodied animals

This is a starfish.
Hi my name is Reed. Did you know that starfish, sea urchins, sand dollars, and sea lilies make up another group of invertebrates. Guess what it's called. The answer is going to be at the bottom of the story. Now back to the story. These animals have five part bodies and spine like the title spiny-bodied animals.Spiny-bodied animals. Spiny-bodied animals have many tubed feet with tiny suction cups. These feet help them feel, move, and capture food. Have you seen a starfish, sea urchin, sand dollar, or sea lilies. Some people have collections of these things Well that's my story

Mollusks

Hi my name is Reed. Did you know that a snail and a octopus are mollusks? The snail is small and the octopus is huge. Mollusks are a big group of animals they are grouped by their characteristics. Mollusks are soft-bodied invertebrates that means they don't have a backbone. They can live in salt and fresh water. Did you know that? Did you know snails only have 1 shell, but clams and oysters have 2 shells . You know that a octopus doesn't have a shell. We eat some mollusks some are good. I just made myself hungry. Well that's the end of my story bye.

Sponges

Hi my name is Reed. Did you know that the simplest invertebrate is the sponge. These sponges are in the ocean that in your house they don't clean. Sponge are likely to be on rocks and on the ocean floor, they don't move around at all for some reason. They can mould into any shape. Their bodies have holes or I call them pores that carry water throughout the top of the sponges. If a sponge loses a body part it can regrow it. That is called regeneration. It's weird because they can regrow any body part. Well that's my story. Later

Learning blog #2

This is my school where I learned all of that stuff I said.
Hi my name is Reed. If you want to hear what I learned then keep reading. I learned fact and opinion and irregular nouns. Addition and subtraction. Multiplication in skills tutor and P.E. stands for  phys ed. In tiger time we did last person standing and I learned new words. Typing is getting way easier. I learned that division is just multiplication backwards . I learned new prefixes and suffixes in rewards again. I think we are going to learn more. I learned that music has fractions in it. I learned that subtraction is like division and addition is like multiplication.

I think we will soon learn how to say new word and spell it in rewards. I learned in tiger time what words mean in skills tutor. I learned in guidance that being nice is another way of getting more friends. I learned typing is getting easier  I don't know why though. I learned that the midpoint is always rounded up. Roundworms

Hi my name is Reed. Have you ever seen a roundworm before? I haven't ever well if I have I didn't know what it was. If you haven't either. Roundworms have bodies that are more complex than flatworms, and they're is two opening not one like flatworms. It eats on one side and goes to the bathroom on the other. Many of roundworms are parasites and they live in pigs. Some of roundworms look alike. Well I will see you later.

Flatworms

Hi my name is Reed. Have you seen a flatworm before. I haven't. If you haven't. Flatworms are simple worms with long soft bodies that are flat. Just like the name flat. Their bodies only have one opening for eating food. Flatworms have cells that help them smell their surroundings. Flatworms are more complex than sponges or stinging-celled animals. They have organs just like us that help them move. A flatworm can also regrow a part if it falls off.Don't you think that is cool? I do. I wish we could regrow parts. That would be cool too. Wouldn't it be? Well that's the end of my story. See ya.

Stinging-celled animals

Hi my name is Reed. Have you been to the ocean? If you have you have may have seen a jellyfish on the shoreline. Leave them alone they can sting on water and land! Jellyfish have stinging cells that cause very painful stings. That would hurt won't it? Jellyfish, hydra, and sea anemone all belong in the stinging-celled and all live in water. The mouth is surrounded by tentacles and catch food. It's like a whale shark but this story isn't about that let's get back to the story. Then it goes into they're stomach and digests.
